We were recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Must be the best carvery I’ve had for a long time. Lovely selection of meats and other dishes, good selection of vegetables. The mash potato was delicious, the beef also. Generous helpings of everything. We’ll definitely be returning to this little gem.

Have been here now on 3 occasions and have never been disappointed. Great choice of roast meats or if not your cup of tea plenty of other choices at the Carvery. Always plenty of meat on the plate. Good choice of vegetables and quality Yorkshire puds! The deserts are also yummy. Although it’s a bit of a drive for us would always go there. Friendly staff. Always book a table to avoid disappointment.

We love coming here for a carvery, the food is always top notch and better than most carvery’s for the price. I’m a pescetarian and they always have a great fish choice, I had the cod in white wine sauce this week, the fish was so fresh and cooked really well. The hubby had the lamb shank as always as it’s favourite on the menu it falls off the bone and he says it’s so tasty. They always have a lovely veggie option also and it’s great that the roast potatoes & Yorkshire puddings are done without animal fats. The bar staff were really friendly and the owners were as professional as always, they run a very busy inn so well as we never have to wait to long for our table. They do make sure you don’t sit for too long after finishing your meal as they have to fit so many customers in, but there is seating else were to have a drink.
